Details
Marketing, Leasing and Managing in a Down Economy is the focus of the 2008 Leasing Summit. PMA is bringing renowned marketing guru Lisa Trosien to lead the Summit's program. Trosien has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the true multifamily marketing experts because of her ability to offer strategies and programs that are proven, practical and cutting edge. She will offer new techniques and approaches on everything from marketing and leasing apartments to easing owners’ budgetary concerns.

Attendees will learn:

  • Ways to combat the "shadow market"
  • Inexpensive and free marketing solutions
  • What you need to do to lease, market and retain residents at your property
  • Where to find good employees in a tough economy
  • Unique and fun ways to reward employees for a job well done
  • ”Bottom line” budgeting ideas to help you and your building save time and money
  • Concession alternatives and why they are better than giving away free rent
  • How to find new niche markets
  • Generational and gender-based leasing techniques
  • A host of web sites, books and sources that will assist you in your marketing, leasing
    and management efforts

Closing the Back Door: Resident Retention Strategies is the focus of the second half of the 2008 Leasing Summit. Lisa Trosien will show you how to increase retention rates. She will discuss a case study about an apartment community that increased retention by 27% simply by focusing on one specific area of service.
