Details
Residents facing a mountain of holiday bills, dramatic increases in utility expenses and higher transportation costs make rent collection more difficult. The PMA rent collection seminar entitled "The Right Direction for Rent Collection” is designed for those who want to make rent collection easier. The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Rollins Congressional Club located at 1621 Martha Terrace Drive in Rockville, MD, from 8:30am to noon. The seminar teaches how to establish a collections policy with the end in mind. Attendees will learn how to set goals and create relationships that will lower receivables.
The seminar was developed and will be led by PMA Past President Geoff Ogden and PMA President-Elect Paul Dillon (Southern Management Corporation). They will be joined by Michael Winer, a noted real estate attorney who will relate legal considerations property and site manages must address to effectively collect rent in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland.
