About the Facilitator:

Slava Madorsky is a certified life coach, presenter and trainer specializing in the positive psychology approach to wellbeing, specifically in the areas of stress-management, burnout, vicarious trauma, goal achievement and confidence building. Before entering this profession, Slava spent 10 years as a refugee officer with the immigration service of the US government, traveling to war zones and remote corners of the world to interview refugees seeking resettlement to the US and making decisions on their eligibility. Prior to that, she was a Holocaust educator at the Auschwitz Jewish Center in Poland and a genocide researcher in Rwanda. Slava holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, an MA in Coexistence and Conflict from Brandeis University, a Certification in Positive Psychology from the Whole Being Institute, a Life Coaching Certification from the Life Coach Institute of Orange County, as well as a Reiki certification.
